Facilities & Equipment:

Our 50,500 square foot facility is located near Cleveland, Ohio. We operate 29 horizontal injection presses with clamping forces ranging from 35 ton to 700 ton. We also utilize a variety of equipment to provide automatic insert loading, part/runner separation, and automatic postmold degating.

In addition to our main molding room, we have a climate controlled area for post mold machining which includes cnc turning, milling, and drilling as well as final assembly.

There is space available to add a second molding room which could house an additional 15 presses.

Our mold servicing includes an extensive bench area. All molds are thoroughly cleaned utilizing ultrasonic technology. Inspection and maintenance are performed on site. In many cases, molds are converted to make numerous part configurations. If mold problems do occur, they are analyzed and repaired by people who are familiar with the molds and are able to communicate directly with production and engineering personnel. This in-house capability facilitates an effective rapid response toward solving mold related issues.

Our tool making operation incorporates some of the best equipment available. We're proud to offer jig grinding, centerless grinding, surface grinding, high speed machining, and die sinking with 3 axis orbiting and spinning. With names like Moore, Dedtru, Okuma, Erowa and Agie, our equipment is capable of some of the most exacting tolerences.

Following are examples that typify our ability to provide design, build, and process high cavitation molds that produce close tolerence parts:
  • 160 cavity mold capable of producing 500,000,000 parts/year. The part has a .125 diameter that must be held to +/- .001" and a .013" center orifice that must be flash free.

  • 128 cavity mold capable of producing 350,000,000 parts/year. The part has a .250" diameter sealing surface that is .010" wide that must be completely filled. The vertical flash allowance is .003".

  • 96 cavity mold capable of producing 180,000,000 parts/year. The part has a .342" diameter sealing surface that is .010" wide as well as a center hole that is less than .010" diameter and must be flash free.

  • 32 cavity mold capable of producing 50,000,000 parts/year. The part is a 1-1/4" long tapered flexible dispensing tip with a .019" diameter orifice and a .010" wall thickness.

  • 1 cavity mold capable of producing 18,000 parts/year. (It's a 20 minute cycle!) The part wall exceeds 1 1/2" and must be void free. After molding, the 8" diameter part is machined to tolerences of +/- .005".
