About Automation Plastics
At Automation Plastics Corporation, we’re more than just a custom injection molding company—we’re a family-driven manufacturing partner built on trust, precision, and long-term relationships.
Founded in 1980 and proudly based in Northeast Ohio near Cleveland, Automation Plastics has grown into a leading ISO 9001:2015 certified plastic injection molding manufacturer, specializing in high-volume production of tight-tolerance components, heavy wall parts, and mission-critical plastic assemblies. For over four decades, our success has been rooted in a simple philosophy: take care of our customers like family, and deliver quality that speaks for itself.
That mindset continues to guide everything we do today. Our leadership team remains hands-on and deeply involved in daily operations, ensuring that every project—from new product launches to high-volume production—receives the attention, accountability, and responsiveness that many large, corporate molders simply can’t match.
Built for Scale. Driven by Precision.
Operating out of an 80,000+ square foot facility, Automation Plastics runs 24/5/6/7 with over 100 employees and a fleet of 40 injection molding presses ranging from 7 to 550 tons. This allows us to support a wide range of programs—from high cavitation, tight tolerance fast cycle molding to complex, thick-wall polyethylene components used in demanding industries like natural gas distribution, industrial equipment, and consumer products.
Our team brings deep expertise in:
Custom plastic injection molding
Design for manufacturability (DFM) support
Tooling transfer and new mold builds
Scientific molding and process optimization
Automation and secondary assembly
Cost reduction and reshoring initiatives
We don’t just mold parts—we solve problems, reduce risk, and help our customers scale efficiently.
A True Manufacturing Partner
What sets Automation Plastics apart is our commitment to partnership. As a family-run company, we take pride in being accessible, accountable, and easy to work with. When you call us, you’re talking to decision-makers—not layers of bureaucracy.
We understand what’s at stake for our customers—tight deadlines, cost pressures, and performance requirements—and we treat every project like it’s our own. Whether you're launching a new product, transferring an existing tool, or looking to optimize cost and performance, our team is ready to step in with speed and expertise.
Investing in the Future
Over the past decade, we’ve made significant investments in advanced equipment, automation, and process technology to stay at the forefront of the plastic injection molding industry. Combined with our experienced workforce and continuous improvement mindset, this allows us to consistently deliver high-quality molded components at competitive prices.
If you're looking for a reliable, experienced, and relationship-driven plastic injection molding partner, Automation Plastics is ready to help bring your project to life.
